All paintings are in excellent condition. Humphreys Mill has a new, custom frame. All paintings were purchased from the artist. Humphreys Mill was the winner of Best in Show, Memphis/Germantown (Tennessee) Art League c. 1991. Old Man won Best of Show at the annual exhibition of the Paragould (AR) Art Club.
Bill Bailey was a career engineer until he retired and rediscovered his love for painting. In his 50s, (Artists Statement – https://www.artbybillbailey.com/about/about.htm). Bailey began traveling and capturing locations on film – converting the images into bold, colorful watercolors. He has exhibited widely throughout the South, winning many awards including prizes at the annual exhibitions of the Tennessee Watercolor Society. Resting Place won the Mabel Larsen Collection Award in the 30th Tennessee Watercolor Society Exhibition. The artist won Best in Show at the 2007 Memphis/Germantown Art League Star Artist Show for Lone Fisher, and 4th place for Rocks of Ages.
