Both watercolors are in very good condition. Purchased in 1970 and removed from their frames c. 1978 and kept in portfolio. One watercolor is signed W. J. Glass and the other W. Glass.

These naïve paintings were purchased from a used furniture store when we moved into our new house in Livingston, Scotland. They were just “pretty pictures” and would delay the necessity to paint or hang wallpaper! Along with another, we would later discover that instead of prints, as we presumed, they were all original watercolors – these two are the work of an amateur, presumably. They have been retained for sentimental reasons but may have appeal to others as they did to us those many years ago.

Images often do not adequately represent quality or condition. Reflections off glass or varnished surfaces sometimes alter color and clarity. All listings are fully guaranteed to be as described, however, and may be returned for a full refund (for any reason) within 30 days of purchase.

Purchase prices are inclusive of shipping/handling/insurance within the continental United States. Prospective buyers should email for shipment to other locations.
