Very good condition, overall, but there are some minor scratches above the houses on the far bank of the river that do not detract from the overall image. This is a good example of British Modern which had its beginning “between the wars” in the early 20th century. This watercolor could be from that period or perhaps a little later – the 1950s or 60s.
The artist signed G. S. Cumming but has not been otherwise identified.
