Painting and frame (mid-late 20th century) are in very good condition.

The artist hasn’t been identified but this painting could be an early work of Ken Hammond who was self taught and began working professionally in 1971. He has achieved success as a marine artist working from his studio in Bosham near Portsmouth. His work has evolved from traditional to contemporary styles, so it’s impossible to link this painting to Ken without contacting him – which I’ve not chosen to do. To be totally candid, I bought this painting for the frame! That said, I mean no disrespect to the painter whomever he or she is – it is just not a subject that appeals to me.
