Very good condition. There is a little fixative residue on the drawing to the right of the woman’s head (her left). It can only be seen on close examination. The drawing was framed when acquired c. 1998, but wasn’t suitable for hanging.
There is a signature, i’ Lelois, but I’ve had no success identifying an artist with that name. The name LeLois apparently hasn’t appeared in the art market, even once, except for this example! Maybe a French speaker can translate the signature to a more accurate form and improve search results.
